Caring for your cashmere.
Cashmere actually is not that hard to maintain.
Cashmere is breathable and will remain fresh so you don’t have to wash after every wear.
It's better to wear the same cashmere piece no more than three consecutive days. Just leave it to rest for a few days afterwards.
What does Eleanoren recommend?
We recommend just one or two washes per season, or a professional dry clean before you store away during the warmer months.
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, then gently press in a towel and air dry. Never use a tumble dryer and try to avoid over washing.
Cashmere becomes softer over time so there is no need for chemical softeners. They actually damage the cashmere and decrease its lifespan, so be patient to allow the soft touch to grow over time.
